The Miami Dolphins do not have any Pro Bowl players this season, marking a significant shift for a team that sent six players to the event last year.
The decline isn’t entirely surprising given their offensive slump, dropping from the league’s top-ranked unit to 18th this season.
Though the Dolphins remain in the hunt for a winning record, their playoff hopes have dwindled to a slim chance.
Tight end Jonnu Smith didn’t sugarcoat his feelings about the Pro Bowl snub when the 2025 rosters were announced.
“I definitely felt that was kind of a slap in the face. I felt a few guys were deserving for sure,” Smith said, via FinsXtra.

The Dolphins find themselves in unexpected company, joining the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans as the teams without a single Pro Bowl selection.
What makes the shutout particularly striking is that those other three teams have combined for 12 wins this season.
Even more telling, the struggling New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, each with just three wins, managed to land at least one player on the Pro Bowl rosters.
Smith’s frustration seems justified, as he had a season worthy of consideration.
At 8-8, the Dolphins enter their season finale against the Jets with their postseason hopes hanging by a thread.
