2024-25 Premier League: Week 11 – Crystal Palace vs Fulham

Crystal Palace host Fulham at Selhurst Park in a London derby.

With Leicester not in action until Sunday, victory by two goals or more plus defeat for Everton would see Palace climb to 15th in the table.

Fulham can go seventh with a win ahead of the evening double-header but a two-goal winning margin or more would put them sixth.

Team News

Adam Wharton is ruled out for Palace after he missed their 2-2 draw at Wolves with a groin injury.

Will Hughes is suspended following his fifth yellow card of the season.

Cheick Doucoure (toe), Chadi Riad (knee), Eberechi Eze, Jefferson Lerma, Chris Richards (both hamstring), Matheus Franca (adductor) and Rob Holding (personal) remain sidelined.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns following their comeback win over Brentford, with Sasa Lukic (shoulder) still absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Palace host Fulham on Saturday 9 November at Selhurst Park in a 3pm GMT kick-off, untelevised live in the UK.

Stat Attack

  • Palace are winless in their last five meetings against Fulham (D4, L1).
  • Fulham have lost one of their last five visits to Palace (W2, D2, L1).
  • Two of Palace’s last three home games against Fulham ended in a 0-0 result, except for a 3-0 win to the Cottagers in December 2022.
  • Palace have won one of two London derbies at home this season (W1, L1).
  • No Fulham players have made more substitute appearances this season than Tom Cairney and Harrison Reed (7).

Prediction

With their season finally sparking into life with no defeats in their last three games, Palace now need to just keep that momentum going and try to cut out the defensive errors when caught on counter-attacks.

Fulham though were absolutely dominant against Brentford yet showed maturity and patience to snatch the win from behind, which was a huge positive when it is easy to just get frustrated in that type of situation.

In fact, I do feel that the Cottagers might need to again suffer a bit here because Palace’s attacking quality is just as strong, but if they play like they did against the Bees then Fulham could snatch a draw.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Fulham
