West Ham host Everton at London Stadium as both teams look to recover from defeats.
Victory would lift West Ham up to 12th if Brentford loses elsewhere, whilst Everton can leapfrog Julen Lopetegui’s Hammers into 14th with a win.
Team News
Edson Alvarez is suspended for West Ham following his red card in their 3-0 loss at Nottingham Forest.
Niclas Fullkrug (calf) and Mohammed Kudus (suspension) remain absent.
Everton will be without right-back, Seamus Coleman due to a hamstring injury.
Abdoulaye Doucoure (unspecified) and Iliman Ndiaye (leg) could be available for selection.
James Garner (back), Tim Iroegbunam, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti (all foot) remain absent.
When is Kick-Off?
West Ham host Everton at London Stadium on Saturday 9 November at 3pm GMT, untelevised live in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Ham have won four of their last six meetings against Everton (W4, L2).
- Everton have lost two of their last six trips to West Ham (W3, D1, L2).
- West Ham have scored two goals in two of their last three home games against Everton, except for a 1-0 loss last season.
- Jarrod Bowen has scored in each of West Ham’s last two home matches (W2).
- Everton are winless in their last five league trips to London-based clubs (D1, L4).
Prediction
Although results are slowly improving for Lopetegui’s Hammers, they still remain inconsistent as evidenced by a 3-0 lacklustre hammering at Forest but Kudus and Alvarez are two big losses for this game.
Everton meanwhile lacked much attacking quality at Southampton despite their defensive efforts, so must find some improvement in East London if want to stay clear of the drop.
Inconsistency sums up both teams so this is a difficult game to call but both teams should score.
Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Everton
