Doncaster Rovers host Notts County at Eco-Power Stadium in a huge League Two clash.
Victory would see Doncaster climb to second if Walsall lose elsewhere, whilst Notts County simply must better Walsall’s result if avoid defeat to go second.

Stat Attack
- Doncaster have won two of their last five league meetings against Notts County (W2, L3).
- Notts County have lost one of their last five league visits to Doncaster (W3, D1, L1).
- Both teams have won one of their last two meetings on Doncaster’s turf by a 3-1 result.
- Two of Luke Molyneux’s seven league goals for Doncaster this season were scored at home, albeit in a 4-1 opening-weekend win over Accrington Stanley.
- Four of David McGoldrick’s six league goals for Notts County this season were scored away from home.
Prediction
With just one loss in their last six league games and a clinical FA Cup victory at Barrow in an evenly-matched contest, Doncaster certainly aren’t a team to underestimate because this team is packed with goal-scoring threats.
Notts County though aren’t an easy team to beat especially after a gritty win over Harrogate in their last league game, before they thrashed Alfreton from behind in the FA Cup so I expect them to go and make it difficult for Rovers.
Throw in the fact that a place in the automatic promotion spots is at stake and this is hard to call, but I can’t see a winner coming.
Prediction: Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Notts County
