Heading into Week 10’s showdown with CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans, the Detroit Lions had only lost one game this season, falling to Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2 at Ford Field.
Since then, the Lions have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL, with head coach Dan Campbell having this team firing on all cylinders, especially on the offensive side of the football, with a solid mix of dominant play on the ground and through the air.
However, in Week 10 on the road against the Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, the Lions struggled, especially star quarterback Jared Goff, who threw a career-high five interceptions.
Even though Goff couldn’t get on track passing the football, as he seemed to turn the football over every other possession, the Lions were still able to come out with the win against the Texans, which is impressive, to say the least.
Former NFL player Marc Spears believes that the Lions are currently the “most confident” team in the league right now because of what they’ve endured in the recent past via NFL on ESPN.
“This team, to me, is the most confident football team in the NFL, and the reason why they’re confident is three years ago being a terrible football team and knowing who they would be at this point,” Spears said.

In Week 11, the Lions will try to make it eight wins in a row, as they’ll play host to the Jaguars.
