After acquiring superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers ahead of last season, the New York Jets were thought to have brought in the missing piece to the championship puzzle.
Unfortunately, Rodgers went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in the first game of the season, resulting in the team being unable to recover and live up to their title-contending status with Zach Wilson under center.
Coming into the 2024 campaign, the Jets were expected to bounce back with a vengeance and be a heavyweight in the AFC, but things haven’t gone as planned, with the team having only three wins heading into Week 11.
With this season looking like it won’t end well for the Jets, Rodgers has started to get questions about the 2025 campaign and whether he’ll be back for another year, which he’s more than open to via Jets Videos.
“I think so, yeah,” Rodgers said.

It appears that even though the 2024 season hasn’t gone as planned for the Jets, Rodgers is confident next year will be different, as he didn’t hesitate to embrace the prospect of continuing his Hall-of-Fame-caliber career in 2025.
With still plenty of football left to be played this season, it’ll be interesting to see if Rodgers’ stance changes once the 2024 campaign comes to an end in the coming months.
The big question will likely be who the Jets hire as the new head coach, especially with some intriguing options likely available in the offseason, like Mike Vrabel, Bill Belichick and potentially Ben Johnson.
