After the devastating loss to the New England Patriots in Week 10, there seems to be a major concern for the Chicago Bears regarding whether No. 1 overall pick and rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is the real deal under center.
Although the Bears showed some promise earlier in the season as things seemed to be coming together, the last-second loss to Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders seems to be something the team hasn’t been able to recover from.
The Commanders pulled off an incredible comeback against the Bears, with Daniels throwing a game-winning hail mary for a touchdown with time expiring, which completely changed the narrative for both teams.
Since that loss, the Bears haven’t been able to win another game, as they will head into Week 11’s matchup against the division-rival Green Bay Packers with three straight losses and a lot of talk about Williams’ ability, with Nick Wright of FOX Sports believing the rookie is playing with some fear via First Things First.
“He is afraid to cut it loose. He is not trusting what he’s seeing…I’m not saying he’s blameless at all,” Wright said.

It’s bad enough that the Bears are on a three-game losing streak and in danger of letting this season slip away in terms of their chances to compete for a playoff spot, but they’ll face a tough challenge this week against a talented Packers squad looking to bounce back from a loss to the NFC North division-leading Detroit Lions.
If the Bears can somehow figure things out this week and beat the Packers at Soldier Field, Chicago might be able to save their season, but if not, the final stretch of games could get brutal.
