Despite losing to the Baltimore Ravens at home on Monday night, the Los Angeles Chargers have had a resurgent 2024 season in head coach Jim Harbaugh’s first year back in the NFL.
They are sitting at a record of 7-4 and in wildcard positioning in the AFC.
However, as they prepare to face the Atlanta Falcons this week, starting running back J.K. Dobbins will not be available.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Dobbins is expected to miss some time due to a knee sprain.

The hope for the Chargers is that Dobbins will not be out for an extended period.
The former Ohio State Buckeye and Baltimore Raven has 766 rushing yards and 900 scrimmage yards through 11 games this season.
He has been a clear focal point for this Chargers offense.
Good things happen for him and the Bolts when he gets the ball.
Now, L.A. will have to find new ways to succeed on the ground without Dobbins, which could open up the door for Gus Edwards to earn more carries.
Also a former member of the Baltimore Ravens, Edwards has been a steady role player throughout his career.
The 29-year-old is averaging 4.7 yards per rush in his NFL career and is coming off a career-high season in which he rushed for 810 yards in his final season with John Harbaugh and the Ravens.
Now, with the younger Harbaugh, look for him to step up in a bigger way while Dobbins returns to being fully healthy.
