The Pittsburgh Steelers keep proving the doubters wrong.
Talking heads and experts claimed that this would finally be the year that Mike Tomlin would lose his non-losing season streak.
They were projected to finish at the bottom of the division and way outside of the playoffs.
Then, when Russell Wilson was ready to make his season debut, most people argued that rolling with him instead of Justin Fields would be a mistake.
Fast forward to today, and all the critics have gone radio silent.
If anything, it now seems like Wilson has been the biggest bargain in the league this season.
That’s why Evan Cohen of ESPN Radio recently called him the best offseason acquisition in the league.
Talking on “UNSPORSTMANLIKE,” he gushed about Wilson’s performance vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.

The former Super Bowl champion threw for a whopping 414 yards with three touchdowns and just one interception.
The Steelers scored 44 points, and while the Bengals’ defense has been subpar all season, that’s still remarkable.
Russell Wilson is making just $1.2 million this season, with the Denver Broncos paying the bulk of his salary.
He was counted out and mistreated, and a team chose to absorb the largest dead cap hit in NFL history just to get rid of him.
He entered the season with a huge chip on his shoulder, and despite all the skepticism, he’s shown that he has plenty left in the tank and much more to give.
