All things considered, the San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season.
They were just a couple of plays away from winning the Super Bowl last season, and they figured to be as good this time around.
Injuries have taken a toll on their ability to compete at the highest level, and people doubt whether they’ll be able to sustain this project in the long run.
Moreover, Colin Cowherd believes they now have a ‘culture issue.’
On the latest edition of “The Herd,” Cowherd called the team out for trying to appease Deebo Samuel instead of trying to beat the Los Angeles Rams.
“Suddenly San Francisco isn’t just old, expensive and brittle. They’ve got a culture issue.”

He believes their decision to force-feed him the football was to keep him happy, and it led to a stagnant offense.
Moreover, that’s the same thing that happened with Brandon Aiyuk early in the season, and he wound up having disappointing numbers before suffering a season-ending injury.
Cowherd argues that the Niners aren’t only old and brittle, but also their decision to cave into their star’s demands has broken their culture.
Those are some valid arguments, and that’s something that comes with having such a star-studded locker room.
There were always doubts about whether they would be able to keep the band together for long, given their salaries.
Now, with them limping their way to the finish line and the playoffs looking like a long shot, they might want to re-consider some things and make some tough decisions in the offseason.
