The 2024 NFL season is winding down, and the teams that are competing for a Super Bowl title have separated themselves from those already looking toward the 2025 campaign.
Teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles are legitimate contenders to play in Super Bowl LIX.
On the flip side, several teams are vying for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The cream of the crop could end up being Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who is expected to go at the top of the draft.
Sanders has shown more poise and command of the Colorado offense this season and seems destined to start right away for a team in the NFL.
A recent report said Sanders would refuse to play for the New York Giants or Cleveland Browns, but his brother Deion Sanders Jr. blasted the rumor from NFL Rookie Watch.
“Bro is completely lying about everything he just tweeted,” Deion Sanders Jr. wrote on X.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders may try to steer his son to a more preferable NFL destination, though that remains to be seen.
There are examples of draft prospects trying to force a team to avoid drafting them, with Eli Manning and the San Diego Chargers among the most famous.
This time around, Shedeur Sanders will have his fair share of interested teams, and it will be interesting to see where he ultimately lands.
