The New Orleans Saints are about to finish a tumultuous 2024 season.
In their final game, they will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking to pull off an upset.
However, they are going to have to do it without quarterback Derek Carr, who will again be out with a hand injury.
So, Spencer Rattler will get another start.

Rattler has started five games this season and the Saints have lost all five.
He has thrown for 1,077 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions.
His inconsistent play has shown up throughout his rookie season, and that certainly can happen when your head coach gets fired and the organization is in flux.
The future of the Saints is up in the air as they will look to both build up the roster and search for a new head coach this offseason.
For Rattler, he will get one more chance to show the Saints and the rest of the league what he is capable of.
The game against the Buccaneers, who would clinch the NFC South with a win, could be another great test for a young player.
In the end, the Saints are going to have to do some soul-searching this offseason if they want to find a way to become contenders in the near future.
