Each week of the 2024 season, former quarterback and current FOX broadcaster Tom Brady has released his list of the top five NFL teams.
The power rankings have been subject to change throughout the season, and this week was no different as the playoffs are about to begin.
“Dropping to the fifth spot … it’s the Minnesota Vikings. … Coming in at No. 4, the Philadelphia Eagles. … Holding down the No. 3 spot … it’s Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. … The second spot … belongs to Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions. … Of course, the top spot in my power rankings goes to the Kansas City Chiefs,” Brady said, via FOX Sports: NFL.

It is very hard to argue with this list.
The Vikings won 14 games this season and two of their three losses were to the 15-win Lions.
The Vikings are one of the elite teams in the league and can defeat anybody on any given day, but they are on the road to play the Los Angeles Rams in the wild-card round.
The Eagles also won 14 games, ending their season by winning 12 of their final 13.
However, they are slated to face a dangerous 11-win Green Bay Packers team that ended the Dallas Cowboys’ season last year when they were also a seventh seed.
The Bills won the AFC East again with Allen looking like the league MVP.
They are preparing to host the Denver Broncos.
At No. 2 and No. 1 respectively, Brady had the NFC North-winning Lions and the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Each of his top two teams has a first-round bye after a tremendous regular season.
