The Denver Broncos face their toughest test of the season as they head on the road for an AFC playoff showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
The contrast between the teams couldn’t be clearer.
The Bills have been steamrolling opponents with multiple blowout victories, including a string of double-digit and 20-point wins, while the Broncos’ path has been much less convincing.
Take away Denver’s win against the Kansas City Chiefs’ backups in Week 18, and its record against playoff contenders sits at a modest 1-5, leading FOX Sports host Nick Wright to questionable its credentials.

The Bills are unbeaten at home this season, while the Broncos have struggled on the road.
Even Denver’s once-reliable defense has shown cracks lately, raising red flags as they enter the postseason.
But don’t count out the Broncos yet. To keep their dream season alive, they’ll need to exploit two Bills weaknesses that have surfaced in 2024.
First, they’ll need to target the rushing defense. The second challenge falls on the Broncos’ defense, and it’s a big one.
Josh Allen has proven nearly untouchable this season, getting sacked just 14 times, the best mark among quarterbacks with at least 16 games played.
If the Broncos’ pass rush can find a way to bring down Allen, they might have a shot at pulling off the upset.
