All-Pro Voting Could Provide Insight Into NFL MVP Winner

The NFL MVP award is the most prestigious in the league for an individual player.

While no one knows who is going to win the award this season, perhaps there is a clue to be found when it comes to who has the inside track.

“There are 50 All-Pro voters. Lamar Jackson got 30 votes as 1st team All-Pro QB. Josh Allen got 18 votes as 1st team All-Pro QB. Is that an indicator on how the MVP vote will go as well?” FOX Sports analyst Peter Schrager wrote on X.

The All-Pro voting is a historically significant indicator for NFL MVP.

Jackson has been named NFL MVP twice, including last season, and was All-Pro each time.

In addition, the Baltimore Ravens QB arguably just had the best regular season of his career as he threw 41 touchdown passes and just four interceptions.

He also led the league in passer rating (119.6) and QBR (77.5).

Allen led the Bills to another AFC East title, but Jackson was a little bit better from a statistical point of view.

For the first time since 2019, Allen did not throw for more than 4,000 yards.

Both are fantastic players who know how to lead their teams to wins upon wins, but the MVP award can go to just one player, unless there is a tie in the voting.

As of right now, based on the All-Pro voting, it looks like Jackson has a better chance between the two of taking home the award.
