The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most highly discussed teams of the 2024 NFL season.
They were the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl, but their up-and-down season has been studied by many analysts, trying to figure out what they need to do in the offseason to improve.
Some have suggested that a new head coach is in order, suggesting that Kyle Shanahan could get traded to a different team.
Reporter Kyle Orr dismissed that idea in a recent episode of Jim Rome’s show but did highlight another coach who could get traded.
“I could see a coach getting traded this cycle, but not Kyle Shanahan,” Orr said. He added, “I would look at Kevin Stefanski in Cleveland. This is a guy who is a two-time coach of the year, and you have Mike Vrabel on the staff.”

Stefanski has been recognized as a great coach throughout his NFL career and has two Head Coach of the Year awards to back that up.
With the Browns being in their current state, roster-wise, Stefanski doesn’t have as much to work with as he might like.
Seeing what has gone down with the Browns this season, they might be interested in moving Stefanski for additional draft capital, hoping to do whatever possible to improve this team in 2025 and beyond.
Quarterback is among their biggest concerns, and if they have more draft capital, they will have more chances at finding a player who can help turn the team around.
