Major League Baseball fans are eagerly waiting for some of the big-name free-agent players to begin signing with new teams before the 2025 season.
Juan Soto of the New York Yankees headlines the free agent class this offseason, but there are plenty of other big names as well including Anthony Santander, Corbin Burnes, Alex Bregman, Roki Sasaki, and Max Fried.
While some of these players’ destinations are easier to predict than others, there is always the chance of a dark horse team swooping in and signing one of these players.
MLB Analyst Dan Plesac revealed his predictions on where these six players will sign before the 2025 season.

It has been reported that the likely destination for Soto would be one of the teams residing in New York.
Plesac predicts that Soto will end up choosing the Mets over the Yankees, which would be a huge blow to the American League champions in 2025.
Along with the Soto prediction, Plesac has the Baltimore Orioles keeping Burnes while losing Santander to the Seattle Mariners, but he also has them signing starting pitcher Fried from the Atlanta Braves.
Finally, Plesac has Bregman staying put and signing back with the Houston Astros while Japanese phenom Roki Sasaki signs with the Chicago Cubs, joining fellow Japanese pitcher Shota Imanaga.
It is always interesting to see where MLB analysts predict some of these players to sign, and Plesac’s predictions seem reasonable.
The free agent class will be something to keep an eye on to see if any dark horse teams come into play and steal the show.
