Baseball improved to 4-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference as they bested the John Carroll Blue Streaks in both games of doubleheader for first time since the 2002 campaign. The Muskies handled business in a 4-3 win in game one and dismantled the Blue Streaks in game two by a score of 12-5.

- This is the first time since the 2002 campaign that the Muskies have swept John Carroll.
Game 1
- Muskingum scored four runs on seven hits and had zero errors.
- The Muskies were led by a resounding effort from senior Erik Cover. Cover completed all nine innings for Muskingum on the mound to secure a complete game and the win. He only gave up six hits and struckout nine batters. This was Covers first career complete game as a Muskie.
- Senior Ryan Schwartz notched two hits.
- Senior Wyatt Reeder tallied one hit, one RBI, and scored two runs.
- Senior Quinten Collins, freshman Grant Mellerson, junior Weston Melick, and junior Tobie Teke added in one hit.
- Teke also recorded an RBI in the contest.
- Schwartz and Collins each had a double.
- John Carroll was led by Connor Mayle and Jack Harmon who each had two hits.
Game 2
- Muskingum scored 12 runs on 15 hits and had two errors.
- A hot showing from the Muskies at the plate propelled things in game two.
- Teke and Mellerson each tallied three hits to lead the way. Teke contributed three RBI’s and scored two runs. Mellerson added in two RBI’s and three runs scored.
- Melick, freshman Conner Thamann, and sophomore Mike Davis all tallied two hits in the contest. Melick notched two RBI’s while Thamann and Davis both recorded one RBI themselves.
- Schwartz, Collins, and Reeder each put up one hit to round out the Muskies.
- Teke logged the only home run in the game.
- Schwartz, Davis, Reeder, and Teke all had doubles.
- On the mound, freshman Shoei Yamashita got the start and after two innings, sophomore Jake Roshau came in for relief and helped weather a Blue Streaks storm early in the game. Roshau earned the win after going a little over three innings while only allowing three hits.
- Senior Jaxon Rinkes and sophomore Nathan Johnson both came to handle the last three innings of work.
- The Blue Streaks had three players record two hits in the contest.
