Chandler Parson’s NBA career didn’t end up how he wanted.
He was a player on the rise, and his ability to hit shots, rebound and hold his own on defense made him a valuable asset.
Unfortunately, injuries derailed his career right after he got a big-money deal.
He did manage to stay in the league for almost a decade, so it’s safe to assume he had his fair share of epic battles against some of its best players, especially playing small forward in the stacked Western Conference.
With that in mind, he was recently asked about the toughest player he ever had to guard, and he named one of the game’s top stars.
“Probably Kevin Durant. I mean the dude’s 7-feet tall, he can dribble and shoot just as good as small, fast guys, who can get a shot off whenever,” Parsons said, via FanDuel Casino.

Parsons also talked about LeBron James’ physicality and claimed that Kobe Bryant even seemed offended by the fact that he was guarding him.
He then claimed that Stephen Curry forced him to put the cardio in, as he had to constantly chase him around the court.
However, of all of the players Parsons ever had to defend, he said Durant takes the crown for sure.
Parsons talked about the fact that Durant was so tall and long that he could shoot over every defender on Earth, not to mention the fact he also could put the ball on the floor.
Durant was the ultimate cheat code, a guard in a 7-footer’s body, and with that kind of three-level scoring, there’s not much anybody can do to get the best of him.
