The Washington Commanders are the biggest pleasant surprise in the NFL this season with a 7-2 record, despite most predicting they would miss the playoffs when the season started.
Their newfound winning ways will be put to the test in Week 10 when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are 6-2 and hold first place in the AFC North.
Unfortunately for the Commanders, they will be without running back Brian Robinson Jr., who has been ruled out due to a hamstring ailment, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Robinson has rushed for 461 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 4.6 yards per carry in his seven games.
He also was unable to play in Week 9, a 27-22 win against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
In that game, though multiple players picked up the slack in terms of rushing yards, their efficiency suffered, as they totaled 149 yards on 38 attempts, an average of 3.9 per carry.
Of course, the story of this season for Washington is quarterback Jayden Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, who is looking like the best player in this year’s rookie class.
Though his passing stats (1,945 yards and nine touchdowns) may not be anything special, he has run for 459 yards and four touchdowns.
This game against Pittsburgh could be a mere prelude to a “Thursday Night Football” showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, which could very well help decide the winner of the NFC East.
