Deion Sanders has been linked to multiple NFL head coaching jobs for years.
Then again, he’s repeatedly shut down all those rumors by stating that he had no interest in coaching in the pros.
Coach Prime has talked about respecting the game too much and how entitled today’s players are, and he has taken pride in shaping and mentoring young men before turning professional.
Nonetheless, a new report by the Review Journal (via On3) states that he may have changed his mind.
Apparently, he’s ‘very interested’ in taking the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coaching opening.

Still, that’s the exact opposite of what he said just this week on Good Morning America.
He claimed he would only take a head coaching position in the NFL if that allowed him to coach his sons Shedeur and Shilo.
The Raiders were in a prime position to draft Shedeur in the NFL Draft, but winning two meaningless games down the stretch cost them that opportunity.
On the other hand, Shilo isn’t considered to be much of an NFL prospect, but any team would gladly take him in a package deal to get Deion Sanders.
That means the Raiders will have to get very creative to try and trade up in the NFL Draft and get Shedeur.
Otherwise, it sounds unlikely that Deion Sanders will leave Boulder to coach in the pros.
