The Major League Baseball offseason is heating up as more and more big-name players are signing with new teams in free agency or being traded.
After top free agent Juan Soto signed with the New York Mets, it appears that teams are now more willing to go after the other free agents available.
While some stars have already signed with new teams, including Max Fried, Blake Snell and Willy Adames, there are plenty of big names left on the table.
One of those is Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman, and one MLB insider revealed three teams that are interested in him.
“Those three big-market teams — Astros, [New York] Yankees, [Boston] Red Sox — all potential fits for Alex Bregman,” Jon Morosi said, via MLB Network.

Morosi names those American League teams as potential fits for Bregman, especially the Red Sox due to his ability to play multiple positions.
Another point Morosi made was to keep an eye on Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker, who was just traded to the Chicago Cubs.
Houston received Isaac Paredes in return, and he could be the replacement for Bregman at third base.
Both the Yankees and Red Sox were involved in the Soto sweepstakes, so they could pursue Bregman after missing out on the outfielder.
In 2024, Bregman batted .260 with 26 home runs, 75 RBIs and a .768 OPS.
The All-Star and Gold Glove Award winner could be a difference-maker, and he will be a free agent to keep an eye on until he signs with someone.
