Key Jets Player Has Been Ruled Out For Sunday’s Game

It’s been a rough go for the New York Jets during the 2024 NFL season, but they finally got on track in Week 9 when they picked up a much-needed win against the Houston Texans.

The Jets have been a disorganized bunch, but the win against the Texans might have been the thing they needed to go on a second-half run.

Aaron Rodgers has all the offensive talent to score in Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams, but it’s the defense that’s propped up New York all season.

The Jets are stout in every area of the field and make it hard for teams to score through the air.

The one weak spot has been their run defense, which is average at best, and they’ll take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10 facing a dual-threat quarterback in Kyler Murray as well as a tough, physical runner in James Conner.

Unfortunately for New York, they’ll be without one key defensive lineman.

“Solomon Thomas has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game,” the Jets wrote on X.

Thomas injured his knee against Houston and it looks like he didn’t show enough throughout the week to be ready to go.

Without Thomas, the Jets need to find a way to plug the run and force Murray to try to move the football through the air.
