The Los Angeles Lakers will most likely be making some changes in the weeks ahead as the trade deadline approaches and they continue to struggle.
Which direction will they take, and which NBA star will they try to sign?
According to Bovada, per NBACentral, the Lakers are currently the favorites to land Lonzo Ball in a potential trade.
The Lakers have +550 odds right now, followed by the Orlando Magic with +700, the Phoenix Suns with +800, and the Brooklyn Nets with +1000.
After that, it’s the Miami Heat with +1200 odds, then the Charlotte Hornets with +1400, and the Atlanta Hawks with +1600.

Just the other day, it was reported that the Chicago Bulls are ready to move on from Ball and are willing to hear offers for him.
The guard is averaging 5.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game this season, but he has only participated in 10 games because he still isn’t at 100 percent after being off the court for a couple of years.
Ball could provide backup help for any of these teams, but they may be hesitant to sign him because of his history with injuries.
Signing with the Lakers would make a lot of sense because that was the team where it all started.
LA chose him as the second pick in the 2017 NBA draft, but he only remained with the team for two seasons before being shipped away to the New Orleans Pelicans.
But any of these teams could see an upside to signing Ball if the price is right.
Ball has faced a lot of adversity during his time in the league, but he is ready to start a new chapter and put the past behind him.
