At their best, the Baltimore Ravens might be the best team in the National Football League.
Their defense overcame a slow start and became as good as usual.
Their offense, however, has been just a treat to watch.
Todd Monken has taken Lamar Jackson’s game to a whole new level, and he’s been a massive upgrade from the Greg Roman days.
That’s why former NFL player Louis Riddick believes he’s earned his shot to be a head coach.
Following the Ravens’ blowout win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Riddick called out all general managers with head coaching vacancies who haven’t contacted Monken.
If you don’t want to talk Todd Monken about your HC vacancy…you don’t know what you are doing.

Monken put together one of the best offenses in all of college football at Georgia.
He earned the opportunity to return to the pros, and he’s done a remarkable job in charge of John Harbaugh’s offense.
Given how many teams have head coaching vacancies right now, he should be at the top of several wish lists.
As of now, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson seems to be the most sought-after candidate, and rightfully so.
However, once he decides on his next destination, multiple teams should also contact the 58-year-old offensive coordinator.
They won’t get Lamar Jackson or Derrick Henry in a package deal, but they will get one of the most efficient and innovative offensive minds in today’s game.
Who knows? Riddick has also interviewed to be the New York Jets GM, so maybe he’ll end up hiring him.
