The Las Vegas Raiders are in retool mode after making some major changes dating back to last season, and they need to decide who they will build around moving forward.
They have major holes at the quarterback and running back positions, but in the Week 13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Raiders got a strong performance from an unheralded offensive player, leading to them giving him a roster upgrade.

After spending the majority of this season on the Raiders’ practice squad, McCormick ran for 64 yards on 12 attempts against the Chiefs.
McCormick, an undrafted rookie out of the University of Texas at San Antonio, had appeared in two games this season, and at 5-foot-9 and 205 pounds, he is undersized by NFL standards.
But the fact that he had such a solid performance against a strong run defense has to bode well as far as his potential moving forward.
The Raiders are tied for the worst record in the league at 2-10, and though the 2025 NFL Draft class is thin at running back, they could have the opportunity to select a promising quarterback such as Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward.
Sanders, out of the University of Colorado, could be the No. 1 overall pick, and Ward is putting up impressive numbers for the University of Miami.
