Ray Lewis was one of the greatest and most beloved players in Baltimore Ravens history, and his defensive prowess helped the franchise win Super Bowl championships in the 2000 and 2012 seasons.
These days, the Ravens have put together another strong season behind quarterback Lamar Jackson’s fine play and a sensation year by running back Derrick Henry, and they’re hoping to make a serious run at a third Vince Lombardi Trophy.
They will begin the playoffs on Saturday evening versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Lewis told them to get a good night’s rest in order to be at their best.
Make sure yall get a good nights rest….

Baltimore went 12-5 in the regular season, and that record gave them first place in the AFC North for the second year in a row, while the Steelers went 10-7.
Their offense has been excellent, both on the ground and in the air, and despite some concerns about their pass-rushing attack, they finished ninth in points allowed and 10th in total yards given up.
Both teams love to run the football and play a smash-mouth style, which means Saturday’s game could be a black-and-blue battle worthy of past playoff wars in the division.
As well as Jackson has played over the last several years (he has won two league MVPs in 2019 and 2023), the one knock on him is that he doesn’t seem to be able to win that one playoff game to put himself and his team over the hump.
Defeating Pittsburgh would be one step toward refuting that narrative once and for all.
