For the past two seasons, the Tennessee Titans have been hoping that Will Levis would become their quarterback for the present and future.
They selected him in the 2023 NFL Draft after he fell to the No. 33 overall pick despite being considered one of the top quarterback prospects, and he has struggled so far in his pro career.
This season, he has thrown for 1,916 yards, 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, and has committed eight fumbles, which has put him in historic territory with Jameis Winston’s 30 touchdown-30 interception performance.
“Will Levis is averaging 1.6 turnovers a game this season. That is the most by any QB that has played 11+ games in a season since Jameis’ 30:30 campaign in 2019,” The 33rd Team wrote on X.

During two college seasons at Kentucky, Levis threw for 5,233 yards and 43 touchdowns while completing 65.7 percent of his pass attempts.
However, turnovers were a problem there as well. He had an overall 3.6 percent interception rate, and in 2021 led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with 13 picks.
The Titans this offseason added running back Tony Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley, but Levis’ poor play has resulted in a 3-11 record entering Week 16.
Perhaps the one piece of good news is the fact the Titans are likely to get a very high pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, which would give them an opportunity to try again to upgrade at quarterback.
